Gin and Tonic:
MARCO POLO

If gin were a sea, your ships would be these three ingredients to be able to sail as

Marco Polo.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz de ginebra Lumus

  • Cáscara de limón

  • Cáscara de naranja

  • 1 rama de romero

  • 200ml de Agua Tónica

Procedure

  1. Pour the 2oz of Lumus into your glass, add the lemon zest, orange zest and rosemary sprig. Allow the ingredients to bathe in the aroma of Lumus to infuse the flavour, wait 2-5 minutes.

  2. Add ice to the glass and top with tonic water.

Remember that when preparing Gin and Tonic the order of the factors DOES alter the product.

What do we mean by this?

We have seen on countless occasions that Bartenders and restaurants mix everything at the same time, we must remember that our Lumus gin goes first and then the botanicals or spices, we wait a few minutes for the flavors to combine before adding the ice and tonic water.

This recipe is one of our favorites because it allows you to combine some of the Lumus root ingredients inside your glass, as well as adding the aroma and freshness of a small sprig of rosemary.
